Other Ways to Give

Recurring Donation

All of us would love to write out a check for $1,000, $10,000 or even $100,000 to PMSF.  However, for many of us, that just isn’t a reality.  Very few people have the financial means to give a large lump sum like this. But like a 401K or savings account, small, consistent contributions to an organization allow anyone to make a bigger impact than they might think possible. Recurring Donations are ones in which supporters invest in a monthly donation. Consider making a monthly donation to PMSF that you are comfortable with.  $22/month turns into $264/year, not too shabby!!!!

Matching Company Contributions

Does the company you work for have a matching gift program?  It is definitely worth asking about.  A matching gift is a donation, made by an employee to a not-for-profit organization, which is matched by a donation from their employer.  Since July of 2014, we have raised over $64,000 because many of our families asked their employer to match their contribution to PMSF. Make sure to check with your company to see if they have a matching gift program.

Many of our families have chosen PMSF to receive donations in memory of their loved ones.  It’s a beautiful way to honor the memory of a loved one and a very nice gesture on the part of families to remember “our cause” at a time of such sadness.

Leave a Legacy!

Another area of interest for Foundation supporters is our endowment fund.   The endowment fund will allow us raise funds for long-term growth.  Supporters may choose to donate through bequests (wills), life insurance, retirement plan beneficiary designations or trusts.
